La Jewellery – Retail Terms, Conditions and Privacy

These terms define and govern our relationship with our retail customers. The terms for wholesale customers differ.

Business Description

La Jewellery Ltd. creates hand-crafted gifts and jewellery under the La Jewellery brand which is made mainly from recycled silver, fair trade gold and recycled brass. All our products are made exclusively in the UK.

Privacy Policy

La Jewellery does not share any information (email, credit card, telephone numbers, address) with any third party. We never have done and we never will. We do not store credit card information of any kind. We do store your email, name, address and telephone number for our records. We only collect your name, address and phone number for shipping and enquiries and to email you our latest offers with your permission. In all our non-personal emails (for example newsletters etc) we provide you with the opportunity to unsubscribe. Please click the link at the bottom of any newsletter to unsubscrive automatically. If you are unable to do so for any reason please use our support portal and lodge a support request.

Terms

Goods are purchased on a pro-forma basis and entirely remain the property of La Jewellery until paid for in full. If for any reason full payment has not been made we reserve the right to recover our property. OIRO.

Disclaimer

All items are subject to availability and colours. Items are hand-made and may vary slightly from those depicted on the site. However, if there is a colour scheme you do not see on the website, please submit a support request and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Delivery Policy

Dispatch is usually within 5 working days. Items can be sent via Special Next Day Delivery at a cost of £8. Please check stock availability before ordering. If you wish your package to be shipped special delivery or insured, or by an alternate carrier please call us on +44 (0)1584?876178

Delivery retail orders over £25 (not including “sale” items) is free of charge anywhere in the UK. Free delivery items are sent 2nd Class Recorded Delivery Royal Mail. Your package needs to be signed for. We hold your special ID postal number should you wish to trace your package but missing parcels are not the responsibility of La Jewellery Ltd. and we are not liable to replace them.

Sale items and items purchased at less than £25 cost are often flat-packed to save on postage costs. Sale items are not usually eligible for free shipping. Shipping will normally be charged at the time your order is placed at checkout

Overseas Shipment will incur separate delivery costs and charged at £8. Other delivery methods are available. Please call us on +44 (0)1584?876178 for details. We will send you via email a transaction number for you to trace your overseas order.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order please do so within 48 hours via telephone (sooner if possible) as cancelled orders which have already shipped may incur additional charges.

If you wish to return goods to us please telephone us on 01584 876178. We accept all returns shipped back to us within 7 days of purchase. Redelivery charges are £4.40 and this is none refundable. We will exchange faulty goods but if you are returning goods because you have changed your mind, we will only exchange them for other items in our catalogue. If returned for any other reason than a fault, earrings are not usually refundable.

For other jewellery there will be a re-stocking charge of 15% made against your returned order. Please inform us of your reason for returning your purchase. We try to offer exceptional customer service and this should assist us to avoid any similar problems in future.

La Jewellery care tips

1. To keep your jeweller free from tarnish, keep it in your jewellery box, wrapped in a cotton or silk cloth.
2. Clean your silver and gold jewellery using an appropriate cleaning cloth and after every use.
3. Do not use harsh chemicals as this will tarnish the lustre of your pearls.
4. Remember to place your jewellery on last of all, as hairspray and perfumes can affect the look of jewellery over time.
